After a fifteen-year career as a fashion footwear designer, Lu realized there was more she could do to make a positive impact in the world. Lu loves animals & is especially passionate about abandoned animals. Lu believes earth is not a commodity that belongs to humans; it’s a community to which we all belong. Lu practices sustainable, healthy living. Being eco-conscious is very important to her.
Ken is a network engineer/internet plumber going on 20 years in all manners of industries and environments. When he is not saving animals, you might see him in his onewheel roaming around local beaches with his two mini huskies.
April loves snowboarding, surfing, & the pole arts. She enjoys introducing those passions to others. She believes that the challenge of pole dancing sparks drive & purpose in our body & mind. April hopes there is a day that many understand the benefits of pole art fitness & expression. Meanwhile you can find April rescuing animals.
Sandra works tirelessly making sure our foster dogs find perfect homes. As a volunteer rescuer and foster, she loves the deep fulfillment of turning a dog’s life around; seeing a dog in a desperate situation, and working with our team to directly save it’s life. She loves this quote: “Saving just one dog won’t change the world...but surely it will change the world ....FOR THAT ONE DOG.”
