Learn about the steps it takes to adopt a dog.

STEP 1: View Available Dogs

Check out the dogs currently in our care that are available for adoption.

Now that a dog has caught your eye, fill out the initial adoption application. By filling out the application, you are expressing interest in getting to know more about a dog in our care. We will respond to your inquiry within a week of submission.

STEP 2: Adoption Application

Once we receive your application, we will review the information provided on the adoption application. We will give you a call if we believe it is a good fit.

STEP 3: Phone Interview

After determining the dog is a good fit for your household, we will do a meet & greet with all family members, including furry ones. Please prepare for a home check. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, home checks will now be virtual.

STEP 4: Meet Up

STEP 5: Bring Your Best Friend Home

After a successful meet & greet with the dog, you will fill out additional paperwork and pay the adoption donation to finalize the adoption and bring your new family member home. We will be there to guide you in having a smooth and successful transition into your new life together.
